If you’re a fan of the Christmas movie classic, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” you already know the answer:
“An angel gets his wings.”
It was on this date, December 20, 1946, -- 72 years ago -- that the touching movie, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” which gave life to that famous line, premiered in New York City.
The beloved movie was directed by the acclaimed Frank Capra and featured Jimmy Stewart as all-round Good Guy, George Bailey, Donna Reed as his devoted wife, Henry Travers as the wing-seeking “Clarence,” and Lionel Barrymore as the reprehensible Bad Guy, Mr. Potter.
Over the year it’s become a family must-see. No doubt many of you will continue the tradition...
