Today we salute Trenton resident Timothy B. Barner, author of two published novels : “Eyes of God - the Grand Design” and “The Sasquatch Diaries.” Eyes of God “reveals a day in the life of a community, as seen through the eyes of God,” Barner says. “The reader is shown how one person’s actions effect another’s in ways that only God could know.” He describes The Sasquatch Diaries as a “Christian humor novel” for young adults.

As an author, Barner says his goal is to “reveal a fresh, realistic perspective on the world we live in. I must remain true to my Christian values, yet put out a work that the secular world can enjoy and respect.”

Hailing from Upstate New York, Barner has a bachelor’s degree in public relations/journalism from Utica College of Syracuse University. He says his profession in manufacturing “has enabled me to see the world through a perspective more in tune with the common man, like myself.”

Barner is currently working on a play about the changes a family experiences through its visits to a favorite Dayton restaurant.

“Eyes of God - the Grand Design” is available at MidPointe Library.
