Get Ready to "Read Local"!
Readers, do you have a favorite local author?
If the answer is “yes,” mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29!
That’s when local independently published (“Indie”) authors who work in a variety of genres will meet the public at the second “ReadLOCAL Indie Author Fair” at MidPointe Library West Chester, 9363 Centre Pointe Drive, West Chester, Ohio.
Authors will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to noon in the library’s Community Room, said Martha Matthews, Information/Reference Programming Librarian. There is no admission fee.
The popular program gives readers an opportunity to ask authors about their backgrounds and writing processes, buy books and have them signed by the authors.
Writers of adult, teen and children’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry, short story, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, romance and graphic novels are invited to attend. Names will be announced soon.
Authors interested in attending should stop by MidPointe Library West Chester or call 513-777-3131 for information. There is no participation fee.
This year the library is working in conjunction with other “Indie Author Day” organizers to promote the event.
See you at ReadLOCAL!
