#TBT - The Monroe Monocle
For today’s #ThrowBackThursday, the MidPointe Library is proud to announce the addition of a new collection to the MidPointe Digital Archives (http://www.midpointedigitalarchives.org/). That new addition is the Monocle, Monroe Local School District’s high school yearbook. The collection can be viewed here: http://www.midpointedigitalarchives.org/digital/collection/MonroeHS
The collection consists of 80 yearbooks, spanning from 1938 to 2019 – with 1922 and 1924 thrown in for good measure. All yearbooks that predate 1990 can be accessed anywhere, while the yearbooks from 1990 to 2019 can be accessed at any MidPointe Branch.
A big thank you goes out Wendy Pugh of the Media Center for Monroe Local Schools and Roger Miller of the Monroe Historical Society for lending the MidPointe Library yearbooks for digitization.
